‘marks is exactly that, bookmarks and other things I’ve faved during the week. I’ll try to keep on top of it but since I can never really predict how busy I’ll be at work until I get slammed… don’t be surprised if it’s not consistent!
- Apple/iPhone
- Unlimited Minute Plans for iphone, now offered by AT&T
- TSA doesn’t get the Macbook Air
- BBC’s iPlayer finally available, but only for UK residents (i think..)
- The Trouble with Steve Jobs
- Productivity
- A Unique GTD Setup (Bottom of entry)
- klok is a beautiful Adobe Air app for tracking time. It’s also free, but as always if you love it, support the developer by donating.
- Keeping an eye on: Web Development GTD with RTM
- Be a happy coder
- Webapps
- Get Dropbox Loving this! If you need an invite, leave a note.
- Launchsoon similar to LaunchFeed
- Wordpress
- 2 Tiered Nav Menu
- Fluency Admin, looks great but still needs a lot of work. This is for wp2.5 only. Seemed to slow down my browsing of the admin interface a lot, and I couldn’t click on anything on the widgets page…. seems like a z-indexing issue, I didn’t look into it much more than that.
- CSS/jQuery/Development
- Fading Header, very neat idea and very easy to do
- IE 8 Beta made a bit of a splash this week.
- Dynamic CSS Sprites great idea, haven’t tried applying this to anything yet so we’ll have to see how it goes
- Easy News a great little jquery plugin that will help you make those nifty news slider things you see in all the premium wordpress themes
- Mask your inputs
- Nifty Corners vs CSS Sprites. A great example of why it is so important to keep up with current web development trends. People are always making improvements on commonly used techniques and if you aren’t using the best of the best, you just aren’t a CSS Ninja.
- Saving for later use: Darn styling that tabular data in IE6
- Invaluable: Sniff And Disable Firebug
- IE6, Transparent PNG, and all the ways to fix it
- Mootools Zebra Tables Class, we all know I’m a jQuery fan so I’ll be converting this to jQuery friendly asap.. when I do.. I’ll share.
- Smart Lists Prototype. Another I may convert to jQuery
- Progressive CSS Enhancement
- Collabedit Browser based source code editing collaboration.
- If you havent seen this yet, Take a look, at a 3 column CSS layout with no floats, no clear hacks, and no divs or tables. I’m hoping to try this out on the next small web project I do and see how it works.
- Design/Art/Photography
- Tutorial with some techniques that you can apply to many different things
- FYI, A list of standard banner sizes
- Cloud Brushes for photoshop.
- Pi Diagona Icons. Similar to Silk, theres 400 in the set
- Inspiration
- Ride Chicago
- A better tomorrow Cute stuff and a cute site. Please threadless, start printing on some dresses & shirts like this site does!!

Yeah, unfortunately the iPlayer is a UK only thing, seeing as though it’s funded by the UK TV license fee…
It’s a shame because it’s a great service, although we can’t get Hulu over here, so it balances out I guess… I think I’d rather have Hulu to be honest…
Some great CSS articles in the list too… Thanks for those :)

Hey Kristin! Glad to see that the site is back up! If you wouldn’t mind, can you send a Dropbox invite my way? Also, how much storage space do they offer?
